Should we be gearing up each Monday? Friday? Every day?

The layoffs won’t occur until we get closer to the end of the fourth quarter, so you can expect people to start dropping like fly’s come come April or May. we be invited by a meeting with your manager who will blindside you with a representative from HR to inform you of your termination. I’ve been here before with another public company.
Monday. Pop up invite from your boss and someone in HR. May the odds be ever in your favor.
Yes. There will just be an empty desk not a desk with some person’s stuff that no longer works there when people come back on Monday.
Survived two layoffs in 1H, both happened on Mondays.
Friday.
They'll box your goods on the weekend and deliver on Monday.
I know that no one knows for sure but there have been layoffs recently. I was asking because I was curious what others experiences have been.
I agree on Fridays being likely. I have heard that the recent layoffs were conducted over Zoom.
My bet is on a work from home day. That would be Friday in this new world. They don’t want any awkward scenes in the office with people crying or packing their desks with others watching. Or security men escorting angry people out into the parking lot while others watch through the glass walls. Can you imagine?
Mondays have historically been the preferred day for rounds/groups.
Why ask? No on here knows
Also, this isn’t normal.. This is the “New Normal”
NOBODY KNOWS when , what, where or who.
