Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Morning mantra

Every morning last year I woke up dreading going to work for Fiserv. This year I vow to place the blame where it lies. This company is not a me problem it’s a Fiserv problem….I will do my very best for the clients each day but I’m no longer taking personal responsibility for this place. I am not the reason this company is so messed up!

Am old enough to remember when associates impacted by bad snow would get an email telling them to consider working remote if possible as “your safety is our priority”.

Interesting… only SVP levels getting updates from JSOC… officially shut out the employees

Not going to the office when there is a winter storm. Could care less what they say. Ain’t happening.

Frank's response - "no you can't have a three day weekend due to weather. Get your a-s to the office and be unproductive there. If you don't have a vehicle that drives well in winter weather, be like me and have the stretch hummer take you to the office."

JSOC doesn't give a cr-p about employee welfare and safety, they exist only to enforce the little minions rules

Come on JSOC… stay on top of this weather impacting millions… can this company at least stand up proactively and let people wfh and stay safe? I highly doubt it… shock me!

Every morning when I get up and walk over to my PC to log on and start work, my mantra is "Thank God I got out of Fiserv and found something normal".

After 4 years in Berkeley Heights, I was informed at the end of last month that I need to begin reporting into the New York office in mid January. UGH! The commute, the taxes, the crowds. Don't know what to expect! UGH!!!

When I started 20+ years ago at OG Fiserv. The mantra was "what is best for our clients, employees and families". Then it was "what is best for shareholders, clients and employees". Then was just "shareholders and clients". Now its "whatever is best for shareholders, Frank, Franks bank account, Franks friends, Franks family".

I would always add - but look out for yourself. If it becomes so toxic that your health begins to shatter, then time to look elsewhere - and always look that way for safety of YOU.

OMG! 100% agree with this and came to the very same conclusion after a week from he-l. None of us created this mess and we all need to start working within the environment they've created and stop trying to compensate for their ridiculous, uneducated, selfish and frankly stupid decisions. Do the best we can every day, stop trying to save everyone from themselves, stop doing other people's jobs and don't beat ourselves up if we didn't get to something. Let the people that made this mess start dealing with the repercussions of their actions!
