Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Some time you have give time to see horizon or Road a head

When I saw the communication of Let Go in the mail box, the following event happened.
My dog was closing the door to a dark closet and later opening the bed room, which has bright light.
After 1.5 months, the same thing happened: I landed a job, which pays 40% more than what I was getting.
Better role and benefits, Schwab as an organization may have taken the decision in the best interest of people, the market, and its survival.
I respect that. It gave me the opportunity to learn new things, meet new people, and learn a lot.
Thanks Schwab for what I had. No company is perfect, even Schwab is not; it is far better than many.

There is a short description for some teams.

  1. STS

This noodle soup Mixed all types of sauce that need draining, especially non-tech people.

  1. CAM

Please do not call their API without caching; you will be blamed for their failure.

  1. O2/Express/What Not next new name

This team has people whose children are 1/3 their age compared to the time they are project.
Get rid of the mainframe team; otherwise, they will never be able to migrate O2/Express/What Not .
This is trimmed or still old gaurd stading?

  1. Tools

Another collection of people: SJW/OKESIT.
We have to be cautious in this team because they are very good at backstabbing.
Sweet on the face, b**t behind
Put audits on the team, especially offshore.
I have seen some posts on itching on the tool team.
Unfortunately, there is some frustration.
Are they able to migrate tools for continuous integration?
Just tall promises no return?

  1. Support team

Excellent people are highly underappreciated.

I didn't see anywhere in the Scrum Guide that Scrum Masters take attendance and that sounds like it goes against scrum. Your manager should have a talk with your scrum master if they are actually taking attendance or replace the scrum master.

@eff+1qpSWNw1 our scrum master doesn’t take attendance because we’re a team of professional adults, not spoiled kindergarten babies - lol

Scrum master is most useless role in STS. I dont know what they do other than taking attendance in stand up. On technical side they should either keep Directors or sr manager-Lead. They are redundant roles
