Since mid December, our office has had 4 giant boxes sitting in the hallway with a “Donations” label on them. There are also about 40 plastic bins (the type you’d store Christmas ornaments in) stacked next to them. They have all been completely empty for nearly 3 weeks. Has anyone else had these suspicious donation(layoff) boxes appear in their office?

Start “donating” a bunch of Wells Fargo equipment. A keyboard here, a stapler there…maybe a laptop or a box of binder clips? Just dump whatever you can grab into that fu(king box. Fu(k Wells Fargo!!!
It's for the food pantries that are being established as an employee "benefit".
Yes it means your area is moving to another location.
These are usually scams run by low-paid call center workers to get free stuff.
Those are for you to contribute to your comrades who have lost their positions.
Bring in your old clothes and household items for donation.
They've been pretty common in the last 2 buildings I've worked in.
Sounds like your area is about to move or most likely go neighborhood seating. Thats the same things they have dropped off in our building floors that are going neighborhood. “Donations” are extra supplies you aren’t using & don’t want to keep with you that eventually go back to supply rooms.
Maybe someone using the office as free storage space :)
Lol - Layoff boxes!!! Like WF would pay for those.
