Interesting. Hotard struggled with making the HPC/AI division profitable and I wonder if his exit, along with all the other recent changes, means HPE might sell off that division.

Might have value to Atos as a foothold into the US HPC market, or NVidia, who needs the manufacturing/integration chops needed to win and deploy Top500 systems.

Don’t let the door hit you, where the good Lord split you.
I first heard Hotard’s name at an HPE technical meeting several years ago. An architect told us that Hotard was responsible for the offshoring of jobs at HPE. That architect now works at Intel so I’m sure that he’s really happy that Hotard is headed there too.
