Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Underpaid and undervalued

Who else believes they are underpaid and feel undervalued at Truist? I might be wrong, but I have a feeling this is the majority of the workforce. Truist has been treating all of us like cr-p ever since it came to be. I hope I can find a new job as soon as possible and say goodbye to this place for good.

You think Truist cares if your family can eat?? Truth is you are just a name on a sheet of paper. Treat your job the same and you will get more out of life.

Bill speaks of being “transparent” in every Purpose Corner but is more vague that anything I have ever seen. It is very said when employees are crying at work due to uncertainty of losing their livelihood, being given more duties with less pay, and the constant stress of this less than transparent move. None of these changes are making sense. One of the higher ups has the potential of $2.18 million dollars in incentives while the frontline employees have all incentives taken away. If your frontline people are not taken care of, your clients won’t be either. Setting the stage for complete failure Truist.

"...It’s abusive..."
That's why I want to become an Assistant Vice President! So I can let it go to my head!

If you are not EL than your only purpose here is to be underpaid and undervalued. Heck of a culture these clowns built.

@wjt+1qnjO6Ae Maybe "most" banks treat their employees like sh*t -- but not all. I've worked for a small bank as well as a GSE financial institution that actually did quite a good job of treating their employees like humans.
Agree with everything else you said. For Truist to continue to preach ~care~ and then do the exact opposite is the worst.

Don’t disagree but if you really feel that way, then do yourself a favor and find another job somewhere else. It might spare someone else their job.

“The sooner you come to terms with the fact that Truist doesn’t care about you at all as a human being, the better.”

I expect most banks to treat their employees like s—-. However, spending all your time talking about how much you care is nauseating propaganda that I think more and more is supposed to mindf—- people and rub salt in the wounds of freezing pay and cutting the 401(k) match to fund EL’s bonuses. It’s abusive.
