They have already sold a portion of the St Louis real estate footprint…
Folks, 1 BILLION DOLLARS was set aside for severance expenses for 2024.
At an average severance package of $30,000, that's about 34,000 people.
I was told layoffs occur the Tuesday after payday, so if that’s the case 2/6 would be a date.
Chandler and Houston to lose 20% each.
I heard tech is affected…
If it’s posted here…no, probably not.
makes sense, the new hires from the Early Careers Program will be coming in Feb and they will be making $105k
There’s a cool billion sitting there for severance expenses. I assume the hammer is going to drop everyday. Charlie isn’t just going to trickle that down in a deliberate fashion. The cuts that are going to happen won’t make sense. If you think your in the clear (Hub or not) your fooling yourself. No one is safe.
I heard that "tech is affected "from the tech is affected guy and I also heard from the "I also heard tech is affected guy" that tech is affected. Also heard that 50 -175K will get laid off in Feb. and that RTO will be 7 days going forward on a rotational schedule. PTO will be handed out as incentives to work, the more you do the more PTO you get.
Always wondering whether this day or that month will have company layoffs announced must take a toll on people's lives. Geeeez, why wonder, why worry about something you have absolutely NO control over at all? Just continue to do your job and accept whatever happens and get on with your life.
What makes it really questionable is relying on ANY opinions offered in an online web site. It would probably be better to ask the Magic 8 Ball all the questions on layoffs and see what it tells you.
Everyday could be a layoff date
I don't see why 2/6 would be any different since it is a non-pay week.
Not sure about 2/6 but heard from a reliable source that 2/20 is happening.
