401(k) match missing?

Another post mentioned that folks should be able to see their 401(k) match already in their accounts. I was hoping to see it on the 29th, but as of now it is still not visible for me. Is this an issue, or is this the case for others as well and I just need to be patient?

Sounds like poor planning on your part. But blame the company. Plan document clearly spells out the rules including your situation. Why max out before your 1 year. Unless you were hired late in 2022.

Seems the plan is working then. Why give you more money if plan on leaving in two years? It's both a retention tool and cost save.

Looks like I was not eligible for matching according to the rules. I had maxed out my 2023 contributions before I was one year in the plan, so they would have matched only those contributions I made after I was eligible. So I have worked at WF 1.5 years, but I won't see my first matching until I work here 2.5 years. I don't think I will be here long enough to get any matching... I have never seen anything like this in my career.

For those of you that feel you were shorted, this may be the same issue.

It should show $$ in ESOP fund
UNLESS
You are a new hire, you need to complete a full year to get the match

On Empower 401K site:
Go to Account Overview, then scroll all the way down to see Transaction History. It has been deposited for everyone who qualifies.
