Was this just the tip of the iceberg . Will there be more branch closures to come ? Will they start cutting postions in the branches so we’re skeleton crew ?

Yes. They're reducing branch offices by 4% in March. Here's the news article on it:

Yes to both. As long as BR is CEO this will continue. The bank is running the wrong business model. The future will be a digital only bank with limited brick and mortar locations.
