Nike has been running on one fuse since I was there. I hear from inside sources it still is. JD and MM are masters at keeping things swept under the rug.
My advice: If you have been with Nike 10+ years, start packing. If you have multiple people on your insurance, start packing. If you get paid well compared to others with similar titles, start packing. If you are too well liked or not liked enough, pack.
I found out my time was coming when they were interviewing others for my role. While I was still in it. A close buddy of mine told me, they were on the panel. Confronted the problem head on and was given an offer to go. I went on my way and feel bad for the ba----d that filled my spot.
Nike will recycle them too. They always do. You are there for a good (or bad) time, not a long time.
