Yesterday & today less than 10 cars in the parking lot…some show as OOO but most just offline so not WFH & I know they don’t have PTO time left nor on unlimited. Of course my manager is OOO to ask why TF I’m commuting 2 hrs to sit in an empty office. Fair, firm, & consistent yet again 😏

I go the office to attend teams call (s) 8 hours , in a conf room with team members living in another state!

No, I'm not remote. I live 10 miles from a Fiserv location, so my commute is 25 mins. I also have family 15 mins from BH, so I know it's virtually in BFE if you're not in an adjacent township.
Again, makes zero sense commuting all that way for a job that has zero security at this stage is all I'm saying.
I know associates who are leaving when their RTO number is called. No way they are commuting 2-3 hrs a day.
Literally nobody will notice much less care if you WFH the week of Christmas.

I'm posted at BH, I go once a week, no questions asked.
What worse can they do ? If they lay me off, I'll find another REMOTE job , They hire only Citizens or Green card holders anyway, why fear ? It's not Google, Meta , Amazon or Microsoft!

Someone in remote position talking? If you live anywhere outside of 20 mile radius of BH office, your commute time is 2 hours minimum.

Hey Just kidding, the only thing keeping us all sane is a little humor. But, truly sorry to hear you came into an empty office building. 2hr commute , during a holiday week when most of the world is OOO? So I suspect during non-holiday weeks your commute is greater than 2hrs? Keep your head up, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
