First of all boomers aren’t 45+ it’s those that are 60+ those of us from 35 to 50 still are agile enough to hold the fort. If you really want to see what happens when we leave the company to gen z, alpha and all others. Things will stop working, your programing will fail, you won’t be able to do your job, and then you will be let go because the company fails. I think what you should be focusing on is the “good ole boys” culture in T and the new progressive DE&I push. It should always be based off performance and knowledge and this who you know bullsh-t should be snuffed out. We should hire the best motivated talent period and not look at age, race or religion. These two factors will be the downfall of this company, and in 2024 with the layoffs occurring you will see the degradation hit the gas and see the seems split. Enjoy your time there, I got my 6 month parachute, found a new role making more than I made at T and won’t be looking back.
