Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

AI

After reading GW's email today, I guess AI will solve the problem of letting veteran employees go. I hope the machines take over. LOL!

AI is laughable in this company. Have you seen our internal systems and home grown dashboards? They already grind my pc to a halt, I can’t imagine they would pay for AI integration.

Good luck with large amount of ad hoc undocumented processes that somebody use just to justify their position in the company. Also there is big risk that your Intelectual property will be stolen or even worse the AI could "hide" back door in the code that 3th party could later use... But yeah boring, low IQ positions like HR will be reduced to bare minimum because AI can send emails, schedule meetings prepare documents, order pizza for next "proud fiserv" event.

Better questions is how Frank will get tax breaks when AI can't sit in the chair of the office?!?

They'll never fully embrace AI, unless daddy Frank can hide behind a curtain like Oz and ultimately control it with his puppet strings. Can you imagine a total control freak like that handing over the reins to a machine? Lol. Ain't happening.

But can the AI count parking spots and desk areas?

Maybe we can replace Frank and crew with AI. We'd save so much money. The AI can even have a cubicle in NJ if it makes him feel any better.

Cutting a few million dollar employees that just make bad decisions might actually raise the stock price significantly.
