Back to short hills

Is it true they are moving people back to short hills due to the overcrowding at BH?

A member of management told us on our team meeting that BH is overcrowded and some teams would be moving to a other location soon. They didn't say what teams.

I don't know about moving some to other locations, but facilities keeps placing desks/cubes anywhere they can fit. I can almost guarantee we are breaking max occupancy laws. The fire drill was sub par. The escape routes are not wide enough or plenty of to accommodate safe exfiltration.

Why can't we go back to alternating remote days? Three days in and two days remote making sure to overlap between teams, you know like we had for years pre-pandemic.

yes! that would be perfect!

that way we could all collaborate in person from two or more separate facilities that could be joined by tunnels with large underground rooms for meetings and maybe even hold forum there - neat! - and, wait, the parking problem could be resolved by encouraging employees to take up residence in the embassy suites or they could maybe sleep in camper vans that could circulate at “the park” 24/7 and then, and then how about we just go on a huge hiring binge to make up for all the losers who are leaving the company voluntarily and we could have so many staff that we’d have no choice but to institute mandatory 8-hour shifts 24/7?

uh oh… franky’s been dreaming his dreams again…
