Things look better than I expected ahead of Thursday's earnings report. It would be nice if better results would translate into fewer layoffs, but somehow I doubt that. Nike is quick to get rid of people when the results are bad but completely ignores us when the results are good. I'm sure those at the top will get better bonuses, though.
