Man is it quiet. Way too quiet. Part of me has to really admire how tight lipped HR has managed to be for the last 2+ months. Then the other 90% of me then remembers just how agonizing this whole process has been, and the immense toll its taken on our collective morale, psyche, and pride in this once great company.

I noticed that more than a few Sr Dir are on a “top secret” project, so guessing they are throwing darts at our pictures to see who stays and goes.
All employees will be told to WFH week starting 19th. Layoffs will then happen through zoom.
The SLT is the issue. Bust trying to save their jobs and not telling us serfs anything....our senior director is in Atlanta in charge of a group based out of WHQ (thanks DEI) and only talks to the people that are so far up his a-s (BI) that they could not figure out how to lead if they were in charge of a coloring book...yes you LP fu-k off
It’s quiet because the clowns aren’t done yet with the new org. The vp levels happen first. Then it works its way down as the new orgs are fleshed out. Not much will happen until probably March April at lower bands. Don’t assume they are competent. They have shown themselves to be anything but.

I just don’t understand why senior leadership is drawing this process out. Why is the communication so bad.
Lack of ability, they’re just that unorganized & unskilled at management?
Fighting between the Kohl’s nepotism crew & everyone else still left here?
A hope that they can trade moral for a few penny’s worth of layoff packages?
We shall know when the time comes.it may come tomorrow. It may come in a few months.
