Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Technology Leadership Professional vs a Technology Solutions Professional

Does anyone know the difference between a Technology Leadership Professional verses a Technology Solutions Professional? They both have similar titles, but I’m not sure what the differences in the role is. Humana’s naming conventions for their job role titles can be really confusing.

There is little rhyme or reason to job titles in Humana. My experience is, make your own title.

Bear- some oldies have a lot of experience in healthcare and are doing a great job, but never go anywhere because leaders know they just can’t afford to lose them so block them from transferring or promote someone younger. Nurses and doctors seem to get nowhere in this company either. High up leaders are bad businessmen.

@bear is on to something. This is why some companies move HQ to different cities. For one thing, we get some new blood in.

Leadership != Solutions

I’m shocked this is even a question.
But this is a microcosm of what is happening company wide.
We simply do not have the right people in leadership roles at the director and above levels.

And don’t get me started with all our oldies who have no skill but we have to keep them because their grandma and the VP grandpa attended the same high school.
