Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

After signing severance papers

Do they send you some offboarding package, like leaving citi handbook and details about deposit of severance funds, copy of signed severance from their side, anything else? Or just directly deposit funds in account?

Replying to: “ No I haven’t lawyered up. Im giving Citi one more month before I take it to a lawyer”.

You should at least go for a consultation. Most attorneys have reasonable fees for consultation so you can get a better picture of your rights. I’m already looking for an employer lawyer just in case I get axed.

What is their explanation to such delays? Do they respond to inquiries?

LOL heck no! They don’t send anything. You’ll be lucky if you get your severance on time. I was let go 5 months ago and still haven’t received my severance. Good luck with everything.
