Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

"Flu" day...

So I tried getting people together to reach out to a union. Sadly, no one wanted to commit more than anonymously saying they want a union.

So who all would be down with an enterprise-wide "flu" day?

Frank and his goons can keep us all repressed under their BS threats, or we can take some risk and fight back!

Why just one day. Walk out. Make it permanent. Place su.cks.

What time of the year do Deloitte and Touche do their audit? Is it in the spring? I hope I am included this time. I will enjoy providing accurate information.

If you want to throw a wrench into the works, find out how to get external auditors snooping around.

@1hfo+1qUsuv4Y Is right. This kind of effort is akin to bringing your lunch money to school in pennies to make more it annoying for the class bully to take it. You are much better off taking your knowledge and talent elsewhere. There are still tons of good jobs out there to be had away from the tire fire that is Fiserv.

Be extremely careful even discussing this as you will be immediately terminated for cause under nebulous grounds if any management discovers your consideration. HR has an active program to monitor and police for unionization activity. Bulletin boards and other employee notice places are monitored and checklists used to ensure consistent surveillance.

Frank's use of Palantir and other spying information systems will discover any digital communications. Access to any related websites will be immediately flagged for review. Tools that inspect web access from work will also rat you out.

You're better off leaving.

if you want change to happen, start inundating the department of labor or OSHA with complaints. start clogging up their caseload with reports of the poor conditions in the office or supposed work hour violations. where there is smoke there is fire and let them start investigating if enough people complain.

Your time would be better spent finding another job. You leaving with your knowledge is way more impactful than a sick out. I walked out with 21 years of knowledge and now use it for my new job where I am a star employee. 30k bonus this year and I am no one special. You are worth a lot more than a sick day. Good luck to all who still work at this horrible place.

Sickouts - Prove I was not sick, you can't. Mgmt reads this, so what, again prove it! U cant!
Feb 16th - You want a sick out on a day you can work from home?
Last Item - I am not doing this as I pick my strategic days when I want to be out.

Nah. My entire location is being closed down. I only have a few days with my team members left.

I'm too busy "collaborating" with them to take a sick day.

And since you posted such an event here so all can read it including management, well then case closed.

Sick-outs are not protected under the NLRB.
