How many were let go? GVPs? Regionals? MLs? or just CM3's. Wouldn't surprise me if just CM3's. Id--ts start cutting at the heart of operations prior to the fat.

Robots would be fine as they are cheaper than the ugly bags of mostly water (Star Trek reference 😁).
Maybe AI will be the final answer. No humans running the stores, just robots. Then only one robot to receive, shelve, and sell product. No bathroom or meal breaks. No sick days or vacations. And no customer service.
Created these new positions and eliminated them 9 months later? Everyone should grab some popcorn and enjoy the front row seat of horrible business decisions.
In my region: 2 CM3's, 2 ML's and 1 RM were laid off. Two of these people had been with Follett for 30 years.
