Thread regarding Enbridge Inc. layoffs

Procedure if laid off

I just had some problems with the network. I thought I was laid off and the access was turned off. Now everything is back and normal. Does anyone know if we are laid off, will our access be turned off first or we will be notified first? If it is a notification, will it be from our boss or HR?

Completely out of touch if you can’t understand how a layoff can be stressful and the process is negative from any way you look at it. It’s great to be a sunshine pumper but know your audience. This is a stressful forum only meant for stressed out ppl that want information, factual or made up. Preferably factual but it’s all good

You have stress if you know you never actually belonged here from day one, if you are negative about lay offs , do us a favor and quit yourself so others can stay and keep working with positive mind, thanks.

Don’t answer the TEAMs call and hide under your desk when you see HR coming your way 🙈🙉🙊

This honestly makes me so sad for how much stress this is inducing for people. I can hear it through these posts and it’s so disheartening. There has to be a better way when we have been trying to make strides in recognizing and treating mental health.

Hi there. Do not fear, we're all experiencing a network issue this Friday. To answer your question, the day before notification day, we'll all get an email that says "tomorrow is the day, you are welcome to WFH if your job allows it". On that day, if you're unfortunately one of the 650, you will received a Teams call or a shoulder tap to a meeting room. Immediately after, your microsoft account will be disabled. You will be allowed to go back to your desk after or the next day to pack up. This is in a FAQ that leaders received.
