specialty means they have a lot of employees there and can't shut it down without a large impact to operations. long term there will be little new hiring or backfilling to these locations so once levels get low enough they will shut down but they will take years. specialty ain't going anywhere anytime soon.

sf bay area metro region covers office in SF, East Bay, the Peninsula and perhaps others. however, if you group or manager wants everyone at an office in SF vs one in Concord then you may be commuting to SF. If that change falls within the distance guidelines outlined in the severance section of the benefit book then you may be able to request severance otherwise no.

That was the worst and most useless town hall I’ve ever gone to. Location Strategy was covered for a handful of sentences with nothing new. The map has been published and online since the first week of December. Still no firm info of waves or timelines like other orgs. If ur not in one of the sites on the map just know u will be displaced, so be ready.
