he should layoff himself after the ludicrous “shock the world” statement which turned into an online joke and brought stocks down immediately. He wont last long anyway.

Yes this isn't odd in any way. Clearly you have to adjust to the numbers/market. Why are people always so naiive when these things happen - you don't have the automatic right to a job for life - it very much depends on the health/direction of where you are
