Nit sure if the fifteen billion is correct. Saw another report that said seven billion:
The trade publication Insurance Insider reported Thursday that Charlotte, North Carolina-based Truist is nearing a deal to sell its remaining 80% stake in Truist Insurance Holdings to Stone Point Capital of Greenwich, Connecticut, and New York-based Clayton Dubilier & Rice for around $15 billion.
The deal had been rumored for months, after Truist sold the the initial 20% stake to Stone Point for $1.95 billion, and Chairman and CEO Bill Rogers suggested on the bank's fourth-quarter earnings call that a sale was imminent.

It’s still being sold at a fire sale price. All the stock given to get employees to stay is going to be worth nothing and another 3,000 employees will lose their pension.
Sad

You guys take your LDP and AVP BS to another thread. Nobody gives a damn about either one. No wonder this bank is such a sh**tshow. All the sane good people have left or been riffed and people like you two id--ts are the survivors.

I’ve worked with a few of the current LDP’s and they are great people. I urge you to get some mental help instead of creating stories in your head to be angry about. Truist has many benefits available which can help you.
