The trade publication Insurance Insider reported Thursday that Charlotte, North Carolina-based Truist is nearing a deal to sell its remaining 80% stake in Truist Insurance Holdings to Stone Point Capital of Greenwich, Connecticut, and New York-based Clayton Dubilier & Rice for around $15 billion.
The deal had been rumored for months, after Truist sold the the initial 20% stake to Stone Point for $1.95 billion, and Chairman and CEO Bill Rogers suggested on the bank's fourth-quarter earnings call that a sale was imminent.

I’ve worked with a few of the current LDP’s and they are great people. I urge you to get some mental help instead of creating stories in your head to be angry about. Truist has many benefits available which can help you.
