We got a free hot dog and soda , never heard of a free parking spot and I worked there for 24 years! they stopped doing morning meetings where they would anounce who got it but that was it no plaque either. They did associate of the year , they got a framed certificate with there name on it .

We only get a plaque. No bonus added to our check or a parking spot.
The real Challenge is figuring out which associate is the least deserving of associate of the month and then giving THAT associate Associate of the Month..
Depends - each Club is different.
First and foremost, it's referred to as "Associate of the Month" (since we don't use the term "employees" at Sam's Club). The recognition includes a $50 bonus added to your paycheck, a designated parking spot for the month, and a trophy or plaque along with your name on a group plaque alongside others for the entire year. We have numerous exceptional associates at our club, and it's quite a challenge to select just one each month.
