The severance package is that u get to watch a pre-recorded message from david szuchman about how valuable you are. The video will not exceed more than 4 minutes bc Dave's time is quite valuable.

For the US, severance policy in the past has been:
6 months of COBRA subsidized premiums
5 years service = 1 week base salary
6 years = 2 weeks base salary
7 years = 3 weeks base
8 years = 4 weeks base
9 years = 5 weeks base
10 years = 6 weeks base
11 years = 7 weeks
12 years = 8 weeks
13 years = 9 weeks
14 years = 10 weeks
15 years + = 11 weeks base salary
Is it 1.5 or 2 weeks? Can someone please confirm? Are the impacted employees' official last day today or next month?
