Thread regarding TransUnion layoffs

For those who suggested more new rounds of layoffs late January

Were you guys for real and/or had actual valid source? Nothing has been announced yet.

Nothing final about any of these plans. The Reduction Train is gonna keep on streaming into 2024. They seem hellbent on upending the Org chart for some supposed savings. Tactical well thought out reductions? Nah! Just slash and burn. Get your popcorn and watch as the children burn the house down. Stock price to $35/share after the dust settles on this fiasco. Take hope in Leaderships quote that we're all family here during these tough decisions. Lol

The people leaving in Feb & Mar were part of the original layoffs, just delayed in phases.
Also regarding the GT Townhall .. it was totally skipped... Not to mention it was a total snoozer. No offense but it seems like Neustar is just taking over TU

People are saying some more rounds of layoffs will happen due to outsourcing and cost cutting and whatnot .

How are you sure it’d happen by March ? Is it fact based or simply derived from rumors, clues, or something else?

Much appreciated for any insights you may have!

Layoffs will be happening by March.

Some that were planned in January were adjusted to March.

There is no doubt that this is happening in parts of the company

Actually the First group was October 3. Second group was after thanksgiving. Those were told the final day would be March 1.

I find it interesting that during today's GT townhall they didn't answer any questions about potential layoffs or try to calm rumors. Doesn't feel good to leave us all hanging and wondering if a ball is going to drop again.

I recall seeing some posts claiming new rounds of layoffs are incoming that are in addition to the November layoffs (10% impacted) . Guess it was false ?

I’m curious when hiring may be back in action if any… or all are getting outsourced.

Also, how is return to office going … are we going to see 100% in office and remote employees being forced?

I work in Chicago and have friends across the company. From my understanding the layoffs were in phases. The first group was let go in November, the second in January and the final group will be the first week of March.

All these groups were informed of their termination in November.

Now their jobs can go to South Africa, India, and the other GCC's.
