We have people on our team that never come in despite the new policy. Managers don’t blink an eye at them but for others they watch our time in office. Anyone else experiencing this?

Here in GA we can decide when we want to come in since our work is more important than any designer...we will let you know that your service are no longer needed
Su-ks to su-k.
I come in when it makes sense for me. Manager doesn't care and says she doesn't even know if the bean counters are keeping track of swipes. Sounds like they've got their heads too far up their as--s dealing with layoff these days.
Even when i come in the office its a ghost town by 3:30. Confirms what I pretty much knew all along. Most people don't do anything at Nike.
Just be good at your job. Its not that hard.
If you still get laid off make sure the effort you put into work builds the skills and confidence you need to land a better job. Enjoy your time off and severance while it last. Ideally you're maxing out your ESPP and can flip that in March if you need an extra cushion during your job search
God Bless DEI
Good. Anyone that can continue to be remote, official or otherwise, should keep doing it. “Act like an owner” and do the best thing for you and Nike, if that is working remotely then just do it.
Guessing they might have some sort of ADA exemption. If you have a disability and need an accommodation that would be a very legitimate reason for this happening.
OP: To clarify, no one is remote on my team. Those who are friends with the managers are given more freedom. We were all told the rules apply to everyone. I would like to have the Nike flexibility back like we once had. I’m upset some get it who barely do anything.
There’s a Sr Director mailing it in by Zoom. He’s been remote more than in the office for a majority of the past few months- always with an excuse.
Must be nice.
Some of the roles have been approved and hired as remote eligible especially in teams like SEC ! They continue to be remote !
Report your manager to HR (anonymously) and to your VP
Let them and carry on as you're doing. They either have an exception, which isn't your business, or are taking the fast track to a list they don't want to be on. Trust me on that.
Don’t be jealous. These remote people are going to get canned soon. If you been around long enough you probably know it’s nike’s way or the highway.
I thought there were no exceptions allowed? How did some of you get them?
I have a Senior Director that works from home after the 4:1 directive was put in place. It’s totally frustrating for us being forced to come in and seeing her on zoom calls at home like it’s nothing.
Many people were able to apply for extensions so don't take what you see as "the manager allowing it". I'm not saying it's not happening but focus on you and your needs and talk to your manager.
Maybe it’s time to build a better relationship so your manager trusts you.
