Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Why do Sunday nights now feel like stepping on a Lego barefoot?

Dreading the faux culture, parking structure hassle, commute and crowded office. And so I can look at a screen.

Because you have to live by the rules, where the managing hr director gets to work remote.

Look we should get some bonus even at the 72% funding level. Just try to look forwar to that. Its still a chunk of chamge. After that payout, each of us can look at pur own options and go from there,

I agree. I have never felt this awful on a Sunday before Schwab. I can't wait to resign.

You must be at Westlake too… I have never hated a parking garage more. Even before being half-closed with scaffolds, the copious speed bumps made it the most obnoxious parking garage I’ve ever used.

I felt this way even before the layoff, knowing it was coming. It was hard then too. I can imagine what it’s like now. I got the good end of the deal- laid off, got severance and another role in fintech at a much better company, remote, higher pay etc. But this is not true of everyone.
