JSOC?

Have you noticed they no longer alert employees to dangers? They only report to SVP & above…Omaha parking lots and walkways were extremely icy this morning…guards were notified by 6:45 of the dangers and they acknowledged many employees were falling…facilities did not have people there adding salt to sidewalks…a truck drove thru spreading salt…too late by 8:15 here comes fire truck and ambulance for a woman that had fallen and badly injured.

if, for example, the state government issues a warning or alert (about dangerous driving conditions, for instance) you would expect jsoc to broadcast that information - but that no longer seems to be the case

it’s a sad reflection of the general lack of trust in senior management that the default interpretation of the apparent change in the jsoc notification protocols - and what seems like a significant adjustment to the threat threshold that triggers a jsoc alert - is that the management team’s priority is less on safety and more on getting folks into the office and keeping them there

that interpretation is hard to argue with given the absence of jsoc alerts in several recent situations where they previously would have been issued

Yes. In the JY days we always got weather alerts and told to be our own best judge if we should risk going to the office or if we could work safely and efficiently at home. The past couple weeks have seen extremely adverse weather in most of the US (snow, ice, floods, extreme cold) and…crickets. Safety shmafety, get your butt in the office and swipe your badge. Ridiculous.

Hey, if you are not in BH, you won't even know who is in JSOC. We get weather advisory after everyone is already in office - like the flooding around BH or snow storms. They care more about the numbers than advising people of impending inconvenience.

Not to be evil but…exit strategy? Take a fake fall (I’m sincerely sorry for the woman who was injured), get a nice payout from Frank’s piggy bank!!! And…wfh while convalescing! Bwahaaaa!

Their job is to create the illusion that Fiserv cares. Apparently that is still effective on some people.
