W-2 Help

I was laid off end of last year and was told I'd be able to access Workday for Tax Documents, benefits, etc. Naturally, I no longer had access post RIF. HR no help as my Employee ID is no longer active. I like to get ahead of my taxes, but not sure where to go or who to contact and do not trust I'll get it in the mail any time soon. Any advice? -Thanks

I left Truist last March. W-2 arrived in my mailbox this AM (1/29). I was defaulted to a paper statement after separation.

The IRS requires all employers to mail out W-2s by January 31.

W-2s were available in workday last night. I’m in the same boat. Hang in there! We’ll get through this!

Sorry you were impacted. Su-ks all around. You should be able to access the Workday Registration here: bbt.com/hs/truistiaregister

The guide Im looking at says it could take up to 28hrs to receive a confirmation email (be sure to also check spam). It also says "allow up to 15 mins after receiving the confirmation email to sign in to Workday."

Go to benefits.truist.com and select "Workday" in the navigation, then select "Sign in" from the drop down.

Use your personal email as the user ID; you will be prompted to receive a one time code via text. Once you enter the code, you will enter the password you used to register (first step).

It says you can contact 800-716-2455 if you have issues, but YMMV.

Hope this helps and hang in there!
