What is the current culture in CVS like? Is the Northbrook office in Chicago a permanent corporate office? Is it usually packed? Also, do they allow remote work if your position is out of state?

Don't forget CVS can not keep large clients. Centered, BS California, soon Molina, then what is next?
As long as GO Go boots and her group get their bonus and equity why care. I mean even the old CFO was on family leave since 2023, they allowing to stay on payroll list until 5/1 so Shaeb Guertins gets to recieve his bous and equity package for 2023. They don't let employees stay to recieve bonuses etc.
not true , most engineering is remote having fun and they do multiple jobs, I know 10 of them who have the best time , they told me CVS is the best place to work! Bonus will be atleast 50k each!
I believe Northbrook office has closed but there’s one in buffalo grove. When I was there it was not very busy. I think it depends on the group you end up in, some are good others not so much
If you read through a few threads on this site, you might get the impression that CVS:
- is a horrible place to work
- subsidiaries are being jettisoned
- upper management and especially the go-go boot wonder are incompetent
- engineers are revered
- morale is at an all time low
- layoffs were haphazard, unfairly targeted older workers and poorly executed
- retail workers and especially pharmacists are overworked and underpaid
- stock is headed into the 50s
- remote work is being greatly reduced and mostly reserved for had to find Tech skills like AI
And....you'd be right (except for #4) :)
God help you if you think CVS is a good career move
