Meets. Bonus down 8%
Less? No
COO/CAO
Meets
Bonus flat YOY
Merit +2.5%
I’ve heard the rules are different now around the rounding for bonuses and raises? If your bonus was a couple hundred less than a last year with a meets, and this year it’s a multiple of 1k, that could explain why. They had to round down further.
Life is too short. you can feel better. seek help.
Exceeds (again). No promotion, raise, or bonus.
CSBBT, bonus 9%, merit 3% , meets rating. Both less than last year
Exceeds, 3% raise and bonus up 10%. Not sure it’s worth the effort, especially in what seemed like a bad budget year.
Exceeds rating. Lower % comp increase, and >10% lower bonus than last year. I will be doing less work in '24.
Meets. Lower merit and bonus which I expected because I was promoted last year.
Meets. Merit lower and bonus same as last year.
Mgr can use some discretion to follow pay by performance paradigm but the pool is pretty much fixed for him and he likely get to distribute differently for exceeds /high end meets /meets /low end meets/inconsistent across his team..in my mind meets has 3 flavors meets meets would see no movement..if your rating improved your bonus shd improve as well..but once mgr recommends exec leaders can make changes to fit the overall numbers and follow some guidelines across all teams under so it’s fair and equitable and mgr can still
Make some adjustments before it was all finalized
My bonus was less than last year but with a base rise last year after promotion my total comp year over year rose
Meets
Merit is .15% lower than last year
Bonus is a couple hundred lower than last year despite last year's raise.
I know some got shafted on my team last year so I can't really complain but it sure doesn't feel great.
Meets, I got a 3.57% raise and bonus was the same as last year.
Took higher paying role mid year. Was told there is no longer a target in bonuses but it would be a bigger part of comp. Got the same bonus as last year so basically it went down. Rated meets, same as last year.
Meets. 2.1% raise and bonus down 2% from last so almost the same. Got a 5% raise last year so kind of broke even in 2023 but not disappointed. It could have been worse for me IMO.
Someone has posted this long time ago and It's very true,
"And really, the ratings don't matter much except it has a huge impact on comp. And with the new comp guidance, you are constantly setting the new baseline each year. Let's say you would normally get $30k for your bonus. A 2 rating would most likely drop you down to $15k or less. So you lose your $15k this year. Next year you get a 3. Generally that means you won't see much of a change from your baseline. Now that your baseline is $15k you stay at $15k. They don't move you back to what was your target bonus. It will take you years and years to just get back to where you were. Honestly, if you are a high bonus person and you get a 2 it's time to look for a new job. You'll be losing out on thousands and thousands of dollars until you are in a new position and your bonus resets.
Not enough people understand how damaging this baseline budgeting is when used in conjunction with a forced curve"

Got a two level promotion last year
Bonus was the same.

exceeds. 7.5% raise and bonus 20% higher than last year.
Remember the funds earmarked for the $1,000 special payments to affected employees are coming out of the general bonus pool. Additional funds were NOT allocated for the special payments.
Exceeds and slightly less bonus and hike compared to last year.
Meets, but less Bonus and raise as last year.
Meets, same amount as last year.
Are you in hub? In case you haven't heard, they are pulling all stops including manufacturing fake negative reviews to get non-hub employee to quit.
