Stankey stated that company's corporate culture needs to change. Yes, it does but you do realize YOU were the one that changed it. Since you became CEO here are just a few of the changes that led to the culture of today:
taking away of vacation time
taking away of medical in retirement for those pre-65
increasingly more expensive, less coverage medical options
major reductions in pension contributions
taking away 96,000 employees pension and transferring it to a life insurance company
taken away all company product discounts for those that retired after 2021
allow everyone to work from home when it benefited the company and then force everyone not only to come back into the office (including all of us who were deemed TW prior to 2020) but also make employees move on their own dime to a hub location
continuous employees firings (lets not call it 'right-sizing, surpluses, or even layoffs or 'rebadging'. it's getting rid of employees: it's the firement of employees)
reducing company medical coverage after these firings from 12 months to 6 months (as of Jan. 1, 2024 )
Corporate culture is at an all-time low because you, John Stankey, have made it so. Morale is at an all-time low and will continue to be low until you are gone. Stock will be low until you are gone. You keep stressing you want the boomer generation to be gone -please leave Boomer.
