Thread regarding SAP layoffs

So Wednesday is the day?

I guess after the 2023 earnings call we will start having an idea about how many of us should start looking for a new job? There have been so many different numbers and percentages going around. Given the industry state I am expecting nothing short of a blood bath.

There will be NO calls on Friday informing people if they are subject to layoff. SAP Policy is to NOT have those conversations on a Friday. If you have been a manager, you know that. The lists are done, but no calls on Friday.

Seems like Wednesday will set the stage. There are a lot of discussions on big layoffs, and it’s possible the RTO nonsense might be given a whirl to see how much voluntary attrition it achieves. Another post mentioned private meetings for Friday, which indicates near-term layoffs. Prediction: internal combustion. 🔥💣💥
