The writing is on the wall. AT&T is a shell of the company it used to be, or could have been. I've given up, and I mirror the sentiment of all my peers. We're sick of it. We're here to collect a check. A pretty decent one I admit, but one that is riddled with doubt, hesitation, and uncertainty. I've given so much, only to realize it means absolutely nothing at all. The only people that benefit are the 2 - 3 layers beneath the Stank. So what I'm saying is, sc--w you AT&T, I know my time here is limited and I will milk it for as long as I can, just like my peers. And before the "Can they do that" id-i-ot chimes in, yeah, I can do that. I just did.

Sambar is a f--king tool. Dont take him seriously. I am sure hes going to think of something else to insult people.
I think this post made a difference.
You are going to hurt sambar feelings again, next company wide meeting he will be crying about it again.
Areas of waste? Like it takes six employees in India to write the code a Georgia Tech grad in the states could do in a day? Or they lose customers who are sick of hearing I can help you with that, but get no help at all, only lines and features added to their bill? They don’t care.
My thought - he should stop being persuaded by VPS who are good at selling him what they and their favorites are doing. This trickles down and makes a lot of us feel uncomfortable.
He should review large and/or critical areas of the business and meet with those people to hear another perspective instead of the spin he gets from VP highlights trying to spotlight their often shady deals or people who will say anything. If he really knew some of the company money waste or real opportunity to save it could be a win win for company and employees (savings down jobs) but he meets only with who he’s told and is intimidating — it’s a shame so many of us with quieter personalities would love to show him areas for improvement $$$ - problem is… there’s no venue to do that without severe backlash from people between us and him :(
Instead of putting this site down and calling it toxic, he should create a forum where decent, honest people can give him feedback that he could verify and he could act on for the greater good. He’d have to protect the submitters to get that info. I think it would be good for company and employees to share narratives he will never hear by hearing from same people. Some of us are working very hard and have good ideas but know better than to call out areas of waste and leadership would waste us in return.
We are all sc--wed. This is a sinking ship.
Sounds like they feel the same way. Milking the company.
Oh man. This post is really going to have a serious effect on those guys.
