The layoffs are only going to accelerate. With the Debt they have on the books shareholders won't break even from today's share price. In order to meet cash flow targets in Q4 there were lackluster promotions while T-Mobile and Verizon were out there with $750-$1000 promos on 4-5 new iPhones. Just think if these SBC nugget heads took that cash wasted on DTV and TWX and out it towards wireless and fiber.

They’re going to sell everything off but cup and string communications.
Hopefully the BOD and senior leadership gets chopped, ready for some real visionary business leaders that care about customers, employees and developing products again.

If you read the latest reports, the lead cable is a non issue at this time from the sampling the govt and others have done up to this point.
