Their new designation and moved to the newly assigned city?

I'm customer facing. I just have to move from the local CO over to more of an admin type of building, which is only like 12 miles away. So no biggie for me.
They are rats hanging out in the CO claiming RTO
Yes. Life is good in Bratislava.
I’m really liking Dallas.
Moving to Atlanta would be a fool's move. There will be a series of layoffs after the waves complete, which would consolidate teams to Dallas. People in Atlanta have been whispering about future separation and quietly warned to look for places to move to in Dallas. Watch the patterns, you'll see leadership levels moving to Dallas over the next 2 years in anticipation of this.
Above my pay grade, we don’t have time to be the CO security guards. a lot of RTO mgr are saying their managers told them they could come by, swipe or badge in and connect to a Lan. Why can’t people just follow leaderships directions and report to their assigned locations. I drive over 50 miles to report to my mine. Management knows what’s going on, it’s seems they have their favorites who are allowed not to follow. Most are in sales or support that I’ve encountered.
To the guys in CO’s and MTSO’s-
You simply shouldn’t be letting those people in. It’s not complicated. They don’t have a business need to be there and it’s not their assigned location. Not a complicated situation in the least. They don’t have a leg to stand on. If they keep coming around and your Boss doesn’t do anything about it, escalate.
You should get a list of people that can access the site with their badges and contact their managers if they have a business need to access the CO.
Yeah. We will get right on that since that is what we have time to ph--king do.
We don't have access to that database, nor does my 1st line.
Maybe you should be an AVP at AT&T with your problem solving skills, seems about right.

I am a real CO tech and you didn’t read or comprehend my previous 2 posts, with a slight correction in the second. I never let anyone in the CO that doesn’t have access, they have to badge in. I only answer the door, when the ring and talk to them that don’t have access, not to let them in the office.
As stated before, when I return from other locations and there is an RTO employee inside, they get booted because they aren’t assigned to the CO. Majority have badge access which they use to swipe then leave immediately and go back home I assume because, obviously they aren’t going to their assigned office. They show up different times of the day, no set time. Im not their manager and don’t care what they do, until it involves me and them being in violation of OP78.
I'd say I'm ready for it to be over, but when this is over, they'll just find a new way to mess with the employees. It will all just start again.
Can't wait for RTO to go away, we have a business to run.
can't always get what you want
We're just starting phase 2.
And after that phase 3
“As I said before, they are doing it to try and circumvent the ask from management. There is a lot of decisions I don’t agree with but it’s not my company and failure to follow is a biggie. I’ve seen co-workers fired in the past by not following or correcting their behavior when disciplined. Been said before, be forewarned, you are putting your job in jeopardy!“
Ummm, if you were a real CO tech, you’d know you can’t let anyone into your CO that doesn’t have access. You would be the one in violation of the code of conduct, not them.
DURP!
I said they are ringing the bell which I open, nowhere did I say I let them in. Those I boot, get in on their own. You made assumptions, I should have separated the sentence of opening and booting “them”. They are separate occurrences, “them” is all RTO employees, most don’t have access but there are enough that do to be an annoyance, they pull me away from my job. I don’t own the facility but it is my responsibility so, if you want access do everyone an favor and get the right permissions. They still aren’t using my assigned Lan connection and office.

Anyone know when the wave 1 people under Legg were supposed to report to their new location? I assume it varies, but recall reading the soonest was 23 / early 24. I never saw any comments on this site about anyone actually moving. In most cases they are probably happy employees and don’t come to this site.
I’m ready for it to be over too, tired of the RTO folks showing up at my CO’s wanting to use my lan connection/office and trying to move in for their mandatory 3 days.
Simple solution. Get their ATTUiD, look them up in webphone to confirm their assigned workspace and tell them to report to it. You are likely jeopardizing your employment by letting them into a facility to which they are not authorized (you said they ring the doorbell and you let them in). It seems you are contributing to the problem which you are complaining about.
No f texass
I’m ready for it to be over too, tired of the RTO folks showing up at my CO’s wanting to use my lan connection/office and trying to move in for their mandatory 3 days. Go to your assigned location! most central offices don’t have extra office space or the facilities for you. Pi$$es me off, I keep getting interrupted by these pre-madonnas ringing the doorbell because no access and having to boot them out when I return from making my rounds to multiple CO’s, that I now cover because of layoffs. We all have had to make changes last several years, quit whining.
Just because your terms have changed doesn’t give you the right to impose or try and circumvent the directive, it’s a “failure to follow”. Time to grow up and stop the tantrums, either comply or find another job that suits your lifestyle, su-ks to be you. Nobody likes the direction of the company last few years but employees have to comply because at the end of the day, it’s not your company and you don’t write the checks. The alternative is to move on, which for most, the company is good with that decision.
This story is getting old. If you want to stay employed, move to Dallas. If you don't want to move, then find a new job. Simple as that. Can't wait for RTO to go away, we have a business to run.
I found another job that pays a little less than what I am making. However, I have decided not to move because life is too short to be away from family and friends.
I live in Atlanta and they said my job will be in Dallas. I won't be.
I moved to Atlanta. It was the right decision for my situation and family. The change has been good..
No.
