Thread regarding Enbridge Inc. layoffs

A cold February

If I was a station operator on the TETCO line, I wouldn’t go buying a new car or make any big purchases. STIPs will go out and the layoffs will begin. The technicians will begin to take on various responsibilities in order to replace the “one dimensional” operator role.

And they may not be around after whatever they call this version of house cleaning.

Every year like clockwork. "Just you wait! Mass layoffs! Mass exodus!" And the result, if any, is a trickle of change. If we wait long enough, somebody will be "right"... even a stopped click is right twice a day.

this rumor has been floating around for some time. I wouldn't be surprised if true. they see how it works in places like the far northeast US & east Canada, Alliance, etc. "inside the fence" guys are gonna be phased out in favor of Multi Techs who spend their time outside the fence and only come in when necessary

Aside from the fact that the OP only referenced the TETCO line, it is going to affect a lot more than just the TETCO line, this may literally be the smartest post I’ve ever seen on this board. Be smart. Save your money. It’s coming.
