How much do we want to bet we’ll be told mandatory 5 days a week?

you lost that bet
Legg showed a lot of transparency on the webcast which was appreciated.
No blanket 5 days a week. Overall, nothing new, except letters out on Jan 25, decision by Feb 9, and move dates or off payroll variable (based on projects and commitments) from June to December. There are some that are critical projects that won't get letters until 2025. No moving expenses (except for a few... IOW, executives), no adjustments for those close to retirement. Only 48% of Wave 1 moved. Expected to be less for Wave 2 with about 1200 employees impacted. Supposedly positions of people who leave will be backfilled, but I'll believe it when I see it.
Showtime
Seriously, Legg is so arrogant and definitely not a best fit for CTO or a leader with empathy.
So glad I’m not under Legg.
Sambar rules!
Well? What ever happened here?
I love all the snarky questions in the Q&A section.
For those wondering about offices days with bad weather, school snow days etc.
Dallas and Atlanta have minimal snow days so you will not have to worry about that once you are forced to relocate.
And for the “telework” questions, let that dream go.
RTO 5 days a week. Test the limits at your own risk. Straight from my director.,...
He also added if your manager is allowing you to work less get that explicitly in writing or they will throw you under the bus in a second when reports start to drop.

- “Have you received consent to record these meetings?”
Fu-k off.
“I plan to record Legg's meeting as well as capture all of the asked questions. I'm also going to record the Stankey Employee 4Q Results meeting.”
Have you received consent to record these meetings?
I don't know about one today, just the one on Monday. As for questions for Monday's call about RTO and Wave 2, there are 149 questions already in the Q&A section of the webcast. We'll see if Jeremy actually answers them. Unlike Stankey, he's normally pretty good about getting to at least the top few. After that, well, they'll be ignored as usual. I plan to record Legg's meeting as well as capture all of the asked questions. I'm also going to record the Stankey Employee 4Q Results meeting. After his sc--w up with the Q2 meeting and the refusal to make replays available, I want to make sure at least someone has it.
Can’t wait to see who will ask questions during the town hall rather than just posting rants here.
What time is that Webcast today? I'm trying to see if I can attend...
5 days in office no exceptions. They will turn off the heat and ac next.
I laughed my a$$ of at this one thank you!!! :)
If everyone is mandatory 5 days, and there are barely desks for 3 day a week people, anyone high up wonder where y’all are gonna sit? Hint: answer is NOPE!
- “Just got done talking with my boss. 5 days a week in office. Badge in and out everyday. Started end of March.”
I spoke to my director and they said 5 days a week isn’t happening, so…
But then again, I haven’t been following 3 days a week, and haven’t heard anything so probably just won’t follow 5 either.
Director could also just not know or be in the know.
If this is for ATS it’s bullsh-t.
those in davos are already talking about releasing virus x, I mean a potential virus x get ready
Just got done talking with my boss. 5 days a week in office. Badge in and out everyday. Started end of March.
Pretty sure Johnny Sparky is not manning the cell tower during a thunderstorm or blizzard. What a d-mb comment.
ATS in Plano here. Anyone above Meets rating still allowed to WFH full time but supposed to keep it quiet! The Meets and Below crowd are supposed to be in office 5 days every week so they can learn to be better.
It’s a little insensitive to act like coming in to work is the end of the world when you work at a company that the revenue is built on construction of networks outdoors in all types of weather. You could at least show up to work.
I don’t believe the 5 days mandatory. I see 3 days working very well & think some orgs will be smart enough to leave things alone for a while. Someone somewhere in a leadership position HAS to see value in allowing time for things to settle down. Make employees comfortable again—not always scared all the time.

You matter.
- “take away VPN access”
Hm.
That’s a bold strategy Cotton, let’s see how it pays off for em’.
They can't seem to enforce 3 days a week in the office, how are they going to enforce 5?
take away VPN access
"I dont have a Legg webcast for tomorrow, I have one on Feb 6th. Maybe thats a good thing for me, no idea"
The ATS one is on the 22nd. It's for all of ATS.
5 days a week doesn’t matter when they fire everyone and RTO == India employees only.
YeYeYe
- “ They can't seem to enforce 3 days a week in the office, how are they going to enforce 5?”
Hopes and dreams.
Just fire everyone and let the company go to 0 so Stankey can say he won.
We have a few options.

“I want dedicated space if they force 5 days. This new desk every day and carrying everying I need to do my job in my laptop bag is absolute insanity.”
A rolling bag is a game changer.
- “We’re all about to get the Stanley Legg bois.”
Stankey Legg, I meant Stankey Legg.
John hacked my phone.
We’re all about to get the Stanley Legg bois.
Guess it’s time to brush up that résumé.
People at comcast were told no more remote work. If anyone wants to work remotely, they need to move to India, where cost of labor is half.

Seriously still crying about wfh
No, watching and laughing about how poorly WFH has been executed. And on top of that, if the payroll issues mentioned on here are true, what is it this company does with any level of competence, please let me know.
Chad Townes CS&O has been mandatory 5 days for a couple of months. Apparently that is the new normal across the enterprise.
May be a coincidence, 1/22 is the next severance date. That is the date to notify people impacted, last day on payroll is 2 weeks later. This is the date on the 2024 surplus calendar.
