Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

People that leave regret it

The grass isn’t always greener. Then they come to this board and post bad things to justify them leaving

We’re being micromanaged and we’ll never excel here.

Why would anyone regret leaving such an inefficient toxic workplace?

Leadership has mo clue what individual business units do. And they cannot provide the necessary tools to do our jobs.

All of our needs are a la crate through service center that simply does not work. IT is leas then helpful and uncaring to our needs.

We’d all be better off working at McDonalds flipping burgers compared to this First Data $hit$how

I believe the OP was presenting satire.

So untrue. I don't know anybody who doesn't like their new job more than being at Fiserv and they all get paid a lot more than what they made at Fiserv.

Yes it is! I stayed way too long and after being free for a year my only question is why did I wait?

We got told we had to move BH or get let go. My team is career Fiserv. Most around 20 years. When we were told they were letting us go. Most were hurt, sad, and felt betrayed. Now Most of us are counting down the days. Can't wait for it to be over. It's a mess and going to get worse. IT is a joke. Our replacements can't get access to the drives or programs they need. They aren't being trained well and not going to be ready when our end date arrives. It's not going to be pretty.

You forgot a couple of words.

"People that leave regret it that they didn't do it sooner." That is the correct statement.

I encourage you to sign up for my class, Lions Not Sheep, which is exclusively being offered ONLINE (because it's 2023 and technology and stuff).

Our team (who left when things began with the pushes to NJ) regularly meets like the French (Frank?) Resistance to talk about leads and openings at our companies we can forward to those still under the Orange lash...we will help them find freedom! We're getting over the "anger" phase and taking action to help those we left behind. No "regerts" here! Viva la not-Frank! This holiday season, know there are those who know your struggle and will help you find a place to thrive and grow!

You are delusional AF. Left a year ago. I work for a company now that appreciates me. The pay is much better and I’m working remote. The threat of layoff is nonexistent. Step away from the koolaide before it’s too late.

Where do you get off saying that “people that leave regret it. News flash, this wave of 3000 employee terminations is Not their choice.

OP is probably right... but it's the exception not the rule. In my career I've had some horrible jobs, and some decent jobs. Occasionally I left a bad one to only find myself in another bad one. But generally speaking, at least for a year or so, leaving a job as bad as this one usually landed me somewhere at least better than where I left, for a while. I can only think of one time in my fairly long career where I left one bad job and immediatly found myself in a worse one. Even here it was better for about two years after I left a horrible job.

So OP is probably right, it's not ALWAYS greener, but it often is! Dare I say that it's even USUALLY greener, if at least for a while.

Explain how that can be true if we have all these "desirable unfilled positions." If it were true, then they would have already been hired and working at Fiserv.

I watched an entire team of high performing (high rated) tenured professionals leave one by one due to ridiculous edicts and loss of faith in the leadership of the company. Majority left leaving retention dollars on the table. Not a single one of them regrets a day. I eventually joined them. We continue to stay in touch and marvel at how things continue to decline under this literally insane "leadership" team.

This is grossly inaccurate. I can count on one hand the amount of people that have left and returned to Fiserv.

I left, and best decision ever. Stress level nowhere near what it was at Fiserv and better pay.

You’re a number at Fiserv, Papa Frank doesn’t give a flying F about you. I’m sure it could be the same at some other places but Fiserv is confirmed as a steaming pile that should be dumped
