Is there any possibility for negotiating the 401k match for performance deposits? I’m getting cut 1.5 years in, would be a shame to lose out on that now
For an associate laid off (redeployment or having their role eliminated) any long term incentive awards continue to vest at the same rate of maturity (with no additional awards or contributions from the company after last day of employment). This applies to the 2 year 401(k) vest period and 3 year period for stock awards.
For performance related departures, any unvested stock is forfeited, and there is no company match on 401(k) awarded if the departure is in the first 2 years of employment.
the cheap necklaces they give employees can be kept permanently with no vesting
I don’t know anything about vests and capital one, but I have heard they like to give out cheap necklaces
Unvested options or stock would evaporate unless you can negotiate that.
