I was sadly mistaken. What’s happening at Nike is happening at every corporate company. I am now back on the list, I think. What happened to this country? Everyone is disposable like a diaper. The grass isn’t always greener. Please research your next opportunity like a background check. I’m wish I would have.

Also worked for a dozen companies before Nike, and having been around the block, haven't found a place I'd rather be. Have lots of friends at law firms, insurance companies, oil companies--what we do is way more fun and we do it in a more fun place.
A lot of the complaints here are actually about capitalism at large (corporate hierarchy, CEO pay, layoffs), they may be valid, but changing employers likely wont solve them

Nike job seekers: Run
I came to Nike with 10 years of corporate experience across several companies and my worst day at Nike is still better than the best days at my previous stops. Having been laid off early in my career journey, I know it can happen at any second and I choose not to live my life in fear. It’s a job, not my life! Keep some perspective. Nike is all some of my coworkers know and it’s evident they haven’t worked on the outside recently or ever.
Be better at what you do.
Quit complaining @bnm+1q4cQyhB and become a CEO
As far as I can tell, every large company. It’s sad. God Help Us All.
Oh do tell … where?
And the CEOs are banking millions on the backs of employees AND have a golden parachute. Visualize that. Also they are never targeted for a layoff because they run this sh-t. Why would they care as they live a life we will never know. What happened to this country. Nike used to be a home grown company that truly valued every employee. PK? What are you doing? Too rich to care? You should be ashamed. PK, you just lost the game.
