Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

For those who accepted a position with a competitor, what did your exit look like?

Design function ETW here, may be moving soon due to family reasons. What can I expect from an exit to a competitor? Will they let me finish my two weeks or will it be an instant exit?

With multiple agencies that Nike works with for creatives, do check in with them.

Also - if an employee, you don’t need to tell unless you signed a NCA.

You are employed by the 3rd party agency, not Nike. You are only obligated to tell your employer (agency) that you’re submitting your 2 weeks notice and that’s it. Nike does not need to know where you are going nor do you owe that to Nike. Merry Christmas!

Don’t tell them or they usually walk you out. At least this is how it worked at other brands. All they need to know is your end date.

Yep, as en ETW they have no hooks in you. You're not obligated to tell them where you're going. Give them notice and walk away.
Congratulations.

You are not obligated in any way to tell anyone where your next role is
