Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

IT Issues Today

Anyone else experiencing issues with both chrome and edge not downloading files or opening files? Also files will not delete from download folder on the hard drive.

It's not an isolated issue and IT is clueless. Must be the result of all the attrition from this quarter. If we can't fix internal functions, heaven help our clients on the front end.

It's the identical issue I had all damn day. I did another search for chrome on Software Center and found an patch for chrome. I didn't see this until later today. Installed it, restarted the laptop and got the downloads to work again.

Love doing IT's job on my own time.

Easily 60% of my day is spent force restarting my computer and recovering lost work, with the best computer the company will provide. Promised my boss I would quit on the spot WHEN they force a surface on me. Absolutely disgusting they thought they’d gain10% efficiency from RTO. They could have just focused on giving employees basic tools to do their jobs. Seriously, as poorly managed Fiserv is, we still just want to take pride in our individual work and responsibilities, but can’t even achieve that. Can’t wait till Jan 1 when companies start hiring again.

That ridiculous statement we keep being told..... "this is the year of operational excellence" bullcr-p has been the "year of operational idiocy".

Yes! Spent 2 hours this morning and IT is a complete waste. IT uninstalled and reinstalled Chrome twice and no change. Then told me to restart--all with no change. Tried Edge and same thing happens there too. Tried clearing cache and then it works for 1 or 2 documents and then hoses again. Then IT says "sounds like an application issue". Ugh--they know nothing about what they are doing. P.S. --if you run Chrome in incognito mode----it seems to work to download.

They are not moving forward at the "new" Fiserv but trying to keep what was working yesterday working today. It's a daily struggle with systems breaking and no one left with the knowledge to fix. So here we sit and are told to open incidents only to have the team responsible for resolving the incident sit on them for 60+ days before they close the incident saying "if it's still a problem please open a new incident."

You don't have permissions to open documents.

Tomorrow you won't have permission to shut off your computer.

@xjb+1q3ICi0i I was on earlier this morning and worked fine After that, sh*t stopped working. It's on Fiserv's end.

I was on a second call with IT for an hour and it solved nothing. Now outlook is lagging after they messed with things. They keep telling me to restart which does nothing.

Even in Alpharetta my system crawls and lags. I think it’s all the spyware that slows down our productivity.

Sounds like an Antivirus software issue
Sounds like a O365 issue
Windows is updating
Sound like a problem with server IF your profiles are stored there for security
