Holiday Layoffs have started!

It’s confirmed, letters have gone out and people have been told. No severance package except for 30 days. Doesn’t matter how long you’ve been there. Remember, not all layoffs or public, especially right before the holidays when it would be such bad optics!

Heard that 50% of the Enterprise team is under 80% of their number. The layoff decision is if you are consistently under 80% of the last couple quarters, you’re being let go.

If only they would do the same for management. How do you have a VP of enterprise sales not hit their number (maybe once if Jackie is lucky) and they still allow her to stay there. Oh yeah, now I remember, DEI.

I was always told you know what kind of company you work for when you leave them. Congratulations NetApp on being the biggest dumpster fire in our industry! Next!!!!

When a company cans Sales reps for performance, that's NOT a layoff.

Those are called "getting fired for not hitting your numbers".

You even admitted the firings were due to, and I quote: "The layoff decision is if you are consistently under 80% of the last couple quarters, you’re being let go."

Please get your facts straight. Sales is a cutthroat and lousy career, and also is wholly dependent on the quality of the product, the marketing, and your quality of leadership.

I am a leader at NetApp. No layoffs from what I have seen under Harv's org.

Good job NetApp on trimming the fat, you ain’t hitting your number for multiple quarters/halfs, then maybe sales isn’t the right career path for ya. On top of that, to bring race into it, just shows NetApp made the right decision to let your a** go.

Oh boy, hard times. Inflation, wars, housing crisis, layoffs. Every one lies. Government, FED, CEOs, Media. Every one has their hidden agenda. Every thing seems rigged. Stock market, crypto, housing inventory. And then some people just like to Kiss Elon Musk’s a** all day.
