This is now getting ridiculous. I refuse to stay at a place where I have to worry about layoffs 24/7/365. Enough is enough.

Just wait for severance. Never leave for free - thats what they want. If you stay, you may not be laid off. If you are laid off, you get severance. Win - win.
Well. Not defending Citi in any way, but unfortunately, this is happening everywhere. You may leave here and face it again. Let's not thin Citi is the only corporation doing layoffs and not announcing when and where.
- Every large company has layoffs. All the time.
- Quitting when layoffs are coming is just d-mb. You could miss out on a decent package, WARN plus severence.
