This is making me so nervous. Every day I read about more layoffs in the banking sector. Knowing how insecure our jobs are at Truist, and knowing that finding a new job will be much harder than usual due to so many cuts all over the place is not helping with my anxiety.

Y'all work for a bank and don't know a credit crunch is? Layoffs will be accelerating in the banking sector. Citibank announced 24,000 more cuts today
Yeah, banks have made it part of their operations. It won't stop until there's a union of bank employees or modernized labor laws that hold banks accountable for layoffs (proving they are truly necessary, requiring prior notice to employees so they can spend the time finding a new job, etc.) That's pretty standard elsewhere. Gotta love how we the tax layers end up subsidizing bank profits when they lay off employees who end up on government assistance, having caused these layoffs through the bloated salaries of incompetent executives who retain their mansions and country club memberships no matter how badly they perform.
I’ll take never for 2000 Alex.
They will stop when morale gets better
Not before then!
Putting pronouns in your LinkedIn is a sure fire way to not get contacted by recruiters. Tells them you are a self centered pain in the a-s from the start. Good day it/them/that.
I specifically put pronouns in my signature/linked in because:
- I’m an ally
- It’s fun to trigger emotionally soft men
So soft. Lemme guess… you include your pronouns in your signature?
when he-l freezes over! Please stop with these useless posts!
In other news - Mari--ana sales are up 100% in southeastern (Truist footprint) states! 👍
