How many of you are experiencing quiet cutting? Where you are made to feel so uncomfortable in your job that you're literally forced out the door. This is a money saving / psychological technique popularly employed by Humana and many other large corporations to reduce workforce.
Any updates regarding UM. I know CMS changes are coming so concerned but wondering if finished in this area with layoffs?
Yes below poster. My invite last week came the same morning of the meeting. It comes as a private 15 min meeting from HR. There is leadership of some level also on the call. They read a canned corporate statement of bs saying after thoughtful consideration....blah, blah, blah. Once you are part of the RIF its as if you don't exist in your department anymore. you are an afterthought and already not included on department level meetings. If you try to apply internally, they make you go through hurdles of tweaking your resume, career profile etc. It's as if your years of service, good reviews, etc no longer matter. It's a very humiliating process.

SPEP = Senior Provider Engagement Professional. Similar to a PEX but with smaller PCP groups.
What are SPEP’s?
All SPEPs were impacted in my market and we’ve heard more realignments into next year.
All PE was not impacted.
So sorry to hear all of those who have been impacted by the RIF. I appreciate this platform for being able to support each other during times like this. I’m in specialty pharmacy and waiting for RIFS on this side. No role or department is safe.
Provider engagement was impacted today, 11/2/2023.
I’ve heard of one UM area getting hit so far, but nothing wide scale. This department is losing UM for a large group so they’ve alerted them that they’ve will only need about 1/2 of them. Also heard about a small reduction in the clinical claims area.
We know that UM is not part of the other areas. Looks like three areas are being hit.

Provider engagement and network is NOT part of UM.
So who is going to do provider management? Are they outsourcing this. So sorry to all affected. Seems like Humana needs theses areas.
