11/1 is 60 days before the end of the year. Where will it be?

The invite comes first thing in the morning…but the RIFs are rolling, so it can come any time
The only way to be more comfortable is to leave Humana. This company has had layoffs every quarter for the last eight years.
RIFs are ongoing. Some have already happened. Some will happen over the coming weeks. More will happen next year.
It. Never. Stops.
Asking when it’s going to happen is the wrong question. A RIF can happen any time to any one of us. Doesn’t matter if you’ve been rated as exceptional for years. Doesn’t matter if you’re well-liked and respected for your work.
It. Never. Stops. And anyone can be a target.
We’re all concerned. But at the same time, you can’t drive yourself crazy thinking about something that may—or may not—happen. We don’t have control over what Humana’s leadership decides. We do have control over ourselves, how well prepared we are, and how we respond to uncertainty.
Pray for the best. Focus on today. Be prepared for the worst, as best you can, but pray and focus on today.
There is no end date
Last year some people were notified in November- around the 7th or 8th with an end date in January. I don’t think there is any security that tomorrow is the last possible date for that dreaded invite none of us want to see.
Anyone with a last day this year should know by end of day tomorrow. I pray I don’t see an invite.
